Adekunle Gold Flaunts New Band The 79th Element

Former YBNL singer Adekunle Gold is getting along well with his post-YBNL life as he showcases his new band music The 79th Element.

An inquiry into the origin of the band name has something to do with “Gold” which is the 79th element on the periodic table. It is one of the least reactive elements, solid under standard conditions and extremely valuable as an ornamental gem. The music band is believed to be a perfect blend of all that gold represent – albeit, musically.

The band members include Micheal Bakare as producer and music director of the band, Oladele Afolabi on drums, Babatunde Alaba on percussion, Ojekunle Ayodeji on the keyboard, Owa Ayo on Base guitar, Femi Leye lead guitar, Kosoko Adekunbi and Aigbokhan Martins backing vocals.
